Six months have passed since the events in the Digital World. It is spring-time and the kids have holiday again. Mimi amusing on hawaii, Joe learns for his tryouts, Yamato (Matt) is visiting his grandmothers house with Takeru (T.K.). Only Taichi and Kouchiro (Izzy) are home and do different things. Kouchiro finds an egg on his PC, which hatches short after and releases an Digimon of the Baby Level. Kouchiro is directly visiting Tai after these happenings. The Digimon from the egg is growing meanwhile. Gennai sends them a mail, transfers Tentomon & Agumon to the internet, so they can fight against this new enemy. This transforms once more and is overpowering those too.
They soon discover that every equipment containing digital parts (like digital clocks and telephones) act weirly. The evil being is moving freely around the internet and feeds on data. While Tai alarms Yamato now (after having problems before), Patamon and Gabumon join forces with Tentomon and Agumon to battle in the internet. However even now it is impossible to beat him.
Suddenly Kouichro receives an eMail from a boy, he doesn't know. He writes that the unknown Digimon started a countdown. When the counter reaches 0 the world will be bombed by rockets from around the world, so he says. Tai and Yamato try hard and make it just in time, with a new Digivolution by Agumon & Gabumon together: They DNA-Digivolve to Omegamon (Omnimon)! This time they finally get the big insect and defeat him...
