The Royal Knights form a group, which purposes it is to maintain justice and protect the Safety of the Digiworld. This group consists of 13 Digimon and all known warriors are on the Mega Level, except for Magnamon, which however is powerful like a Mega Digimon. Original in the history of Royal Knights Imperialdramon Paladin Mode was the founder of the group, but he himself is not a member of this group.

Digimon X-Evolution: Alphamon digivolves from Dorumon and is the leading character. At the end he sacrifices himself to save the Digiworld from Dexmon, by using his "Ultimate War Blade King Dragon Sword" skewering himself and Dexmon.
Digimon D-Cyber: It digivolves from Dorumon, Hikaru Ryuujis Digimon Partner. To safe the Digiworld from Dexmon at the end it does an DNA Diviolution with OwRyumon to Alphamon (Ultimate War Blade King Dragon).
Digimon Savers: Although Alphamon does not appear in this season, he makes an appearance in the second (JP) Opening.

Name: Craniummon

Craniummon wears a Helm that looks like a Skull. On the rest of his Armour, you can also find Skulls. His Equipment is made up by the double-edged Spear "Claíomh Solais" and the Shield "Avala". The Shield is rumored to be the strongest and robust of the whole Digiworld.
Digimon Savers: Craniummon is the most loyal Royal Knight to Yggdrasil and and a strong bond connects both. In the past, Suguru Daimon and BanchouLeomon defeated him which was the beginning of a new friendship.

Although that Crusadermom is a member of the Royal Knights, it is very ruthless towards weaker ones, due to his own self-justice. His trademark is a rose, which he is always carrying.
Digimon Frontier: Sent by Lucemon with the order to collect all Data of the Digiworld, so Lucemon gets free from his prison in the Dark Zone. He gets support in this mission by Dynasmon. In return, they require access to the human world for both of them.
Digimon Savers: It appears along with the other Royal Knights in front of the DATS-Team and later attacks the human world, with the Knightmon Army, to fulfill Yggdrasil's plans.
Digimon X-Evolution: Crusadermon is not appearing physical in this movie, admittedly he is a servant of Yggdrasil. Because his voice can be heard at background of one scene, while Magnamon, Omnimon and Gallantmon are talking.

Duftmon wears a helm that looks like a leopard with a long yellow mane attached. As weapon he carries a rapier which is used to execute attacks. He is the leading strategist among the Royal Knights, who believes strength is justice. In addition he has the option of Mode Change, to become Duftmon Leopard Mode.
Digimon Savers: While the Royal Knights, execute Yggdrasil's plans, he joins them to accomplish the plans and begins to destroy Japan.

Dynasmon wears an armor purely of Chrome Digizoid. He is physically the strongest among the Royal Knights, his defence is exceptionally and he can fly very fast. In addition he can suck off the attacks of his enemies, by using his hands.

Examon's data are the evidence of excellent quantity and quality. Beside his status as Royal Knight he is also at the top of the Dragon Digimon and because of that his nickname is "Dragon Emporer".
His Wings "Caledfwlch" are made of Chrome Digizoid and has its own will, when Examon is attacked they will shield him, another option is to fly Examon around. The spear "Ambrosius" is Examon's weapon.

Name: Gallantmon

Gallantmon is the typical image of a (european) knight. He wears the usual armor, shield and lance of a knight. His chest is marked by a black danger symbol and the colors of his armor shows a royal and honorable status.
Digimon Tamers: The Gallantmon appearing in this season is not a member of the Royal Knights.
Digimon Savers: It appears along with the other Royal Knights in front of the DATS-Team and later appears above Japan to fight the DATS-Team. However, Sleipmon is messing with it's business.
Digimon X-Evolution: Gallantmon tries to bring light upon the background of Yggdrasil's plans. Later on he fights against his friend Omnimon, because Omnimon doesen't trust him anymore. Gallantmon tells him the Royal Knights are just being used and the Project Arc Plan is more than it looks like. Shortly after passing away it returns as Gallantmon X.

Magnamon wears a golden Armor and is the only Digimon among the Royal Knights not being on the Mega Level.
Digimon Adventure 02: The Magnamon in this season is not the same as the member of the Royal Knights.
Digimon Savers: It appears in front of the DATS-Team like the other Royal Knights, but has no special role in this season.
Digimon X-Evolution: Very loyal towards Yggdrasil, Magnamon brings Dorugamon to him. When Omnimon and Alphamon appear in intention of stopping Yggdrasil, he still believes in his leader, but does nothing to prevent them from doing so.

Among the Royal Knights Omnimon is one of the strongest members, mainly because he was created by a fusion between WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon.
Digimon Adventure: The Omnimon in this season is not the same as the member of the Royal Knights.
Digimon Savers: It appears along with the other Royal Knights in front of the DATS-Team and later attacks the human world with the Knightmon Army to fulfill Kind Drasil's plans.
Digimon X-Evolution: While Alphamon is away he is temporary the leader of the Royal Knights. When Gallantmon reveals the true intention of Yggdrasil, Omnimon refuses to believe him. After a fight with Gallantmon, ending in Gallantmon's death, he has doubts about Yggdrasil's decisions.

Name: Sleipmon

The character of Sleipmon was based on the horse of Odin, which had eight legs. Though it lacks 1 pair of legs, it has 1 pair of arms. His left hand carrys the Crossbow "Muspelheim" and his right the shield "Niflheim". His armor consists of red Digizoid.
Digimon Savers: Satsuma's Digipartner is Kudamon, which digivolves to Sleipmon. At an attack of the other Royal Knights it saves the DATS members and gets injured pretty badly. Later it fights against Gallantmon.

Ulforce-Veedramon the fastest member of the Royal Knights. His speed is similar to Merkurimons, a member of the Olympus Twelve. His armor consists of blue Digizoid, his sword and shield can be shoot from his V-Armlets.
Digimon V-Tamer: The Ulforce-Veedramon appearing in this Manga is not the same as the member of the Royal Knights.
Digimon Savers: It appears along with the other Royal Knights in front of the DATS-Team and later attacks the human world to fulfill Yggdrasil's plans. One of his targets in this task is Egypt.
