The Olympus Twelve are a group of 12 god man Digimon, the archetype of these are took from Ancient Rome and myths from Greece. Momentarily only 6 of them are known, all of them have names of Roman gods.

Apollomon is the Mega Level of Coronamon. It is named by the God Apollo, which stands for: sun, medicine, light, truth and music. In mythology Apollo stands for the sun.

Dianamon is the Mega Level of Lunamon. It is named by the God Diana, which stands for: hunt and the moon. Therefore she represents the moon in mythology.
Like a moon Dianamon has two sides as well, on the one she fights with Water and Ice, as a member of the Olympus Twelve, on the other side, she also fights with temperatures far below the zero-point (-273°C, the lowest possible). Her legs each own a face, which are called "Goodnight Sisters".

In this case the God Mercurius gave his name to Merukimon (JP: Mercurimon), he is the messenger among the gods. Like the god in Mythology he is extremely fast and flys around the world in a very short time. The weapon carried by him is called "Azteca".
His hands can be used to fire waves of energy or to create windstorms. Furthermore he has power over the Lightning.
Digimon Savers: In this season, it's shown which close relationship Merukimon fosters to Keenan. He fights for the protection of the DigiWorld and also to prevent history from repeating itself, some years before humans tried to destroy the DigiWorld he had the feeling those humans betrayed him.

Minervamon wears an snake style armour. Named after the Goddess Minerva, which is the goddess of wisdom, of arts and crafts , of (strategic) wars and peace.
She is extraordinary strong and able to accomplish everything with ease, her two-handed longsword is called by the name "Olympia", it's almost even as heavy as her own bodyweight.

Neptunmon tooks the name of the oceanic God Neptun. He resides in his underwater stronghold, "Abyss Sanctuary" and rules from there deep under the ocean. However, this housing can only be entered by those with the ability to withstand the high water pressure.
It wears a scale armour made of blue Digizoid. In his hands he carries the "King's Bite", a trident that looks like a dangerous fish, it has a will on itself.
