The seven Demon Lords are a group of seven very strong and malicious Digimon. After the Digimon Card Game they are all part of the group Demon Lord, and even if some other Digimon are also Demon Lords, these seven are the only real Great Demon Lords. Their main appereance they have in "Digimon World: Data Squad" (PS2) and" Digimon World DS" (NDS) as an opponent.
After a demonology from the 16th Century (Binsfeld, 1589) seven demons lords try to attempt the people to die because of a deadly sin. Lucifer promotes pride, the greed is showed by Mammon, Asmodi stands for lust, the wrath of Satan, Beelzebub presents the gluttony, Leviathan the envy and Belphegor the sloth.
Each of the Seven Demon Lords is also connected with a planet and a special created symbol.

Barbamon is a greedy Digimon having the appearance of an old wizard with a long wand. He is regarded as the insidious Digimon in the group. He uses his cunning to the group to allow the to conquer the whole digital world. Barbamon lives in the central regions of the Dark Area, where it dominates Fallen Angel Digimon. All riches and his ideas of the world belong to his major aims.
Barbamons name comes from the Hebrew Barbatos demons. Barbatos is a count and a duke of hell and lead thirty legions of demons. He can talk with animals, see past and future, reconciles friends and rulers, and he can lead men to resources, through the magic has been hidden.

Beelzemons name comes from the Hebrew demon Beelzebub, who is also called the Lord of Flies. Moreover, the notion of Beelzebub is a synonym for the devil. In mythology Beelzebub is one of the highest-ranking demons of hell. He is even the secound strongest lord in hell after Satan.

Belphemon Rage Mode appears every 1000 years waking up from his Sleep Mode. He has dark brown hair and large wings. His arms are binded with chains and these chains have an energy that is part of his body and if it is extremely concentrated the claws can be dangerous weapons.
Belphemons name comes from the demon Belphegor. He was in the Jewish and Medieval Demonology a leading demon from hell sent to Earth to find out whether there exists just only a happy marriage on Earth. But Belphegor wasn't able to find a solution for this and said that there are no evidences for a happy marriage on earth. If he is called he appears as a young woman.

Its name comes from the concept of the demon and its appearance resembles that of Satan. He is the supreme Christian devil and prince of hell, he is also depicted as a mixed form of man and dead animal bodies, often in form of a snake or a dragon.

Leviamons name derives from the monster living in the ocean called Leviathan, which occurs in the Bible. Leviathan is depicted as a several-headed dragon. Leviathan circularly clasps as the embodiment of chaotic powers the earth.

Lillithmons name has its origins in Lilith, Adam's first wife. Lilith fought with Adam and then disappeared from the paradise right into the desert. There, she operated every day with thousands of demons and brought thousand children per day at the world.
