The host computer Yggdrasil plans to destroy all Digimon and to build a new Digital World with the Arc Project. For it he sends out the Royal Knights in order to fulfill the task. They should be using the dreaded X-Virus to destroy the Digimon, but Gallatmon has doubts about the things they are doing. Is it really right to do something like this so that a war between normal and those Digimon with the X-virus arises?

While some X-Digimon and some normal Digimonare talking about the problem of the X-Virus and about the plans of the Royal Knights Omnimon appears destroying all of them except for WarGreymon X and Tokomon who were able to flee after the hard fight with the Royal Knight. They find Dorumon in a nearby building which is also a X-Digimon. WarGreymon X decides to leave Tokomon behind at Dorumon and to go to MetalGarurumon X to discuss a few things with him.
MetalGarurumon X is of the opinion that the Royal Knights are not the real enemies and that he don't wanna fight against them until he knows why they do these things.

After a while Dorumon and Tokomon have to watch how Omnimon kills lots of Digimon until they are attacked, too. They are not even a little bit as strong as Omnimon and Dorumon gives the X-Antibody to Tokomon in order that the Royal Knight won't get it. Dorumon digivolves to Dorugamon and keeps on fighting Omnimon. But the fight is suddenly interrupted by Gallantmon. After that Gallantmon is defeated by Omnimon, Dorugamon is caught by Magnamon, but then the Digimon divides itself into two parts what is just the beginning of the end.

Is there still hope for the Digital World or is Yggdrasil able to fulfill his plans?
