All people, including Marcus, Yoshino and Thomas,are set into an eternal sleep by an unknown power. This dark power comes from a bad Digimon. Now, Agumon, Lalamon and Gaomon are on their own and are no longer able to digivolve but when they notice the girl Rhythm chased by some Goburimon the Digimon save her and are looking for a save place. The strange thing is: This girl is still awake. Rhythm tells them that the situation is caused by Argomon which is trying to destroy the humans. The four make their way to the castle of the evil Digimon to stop it and to save all the people but this task is harder for the three Rookie Digimon than it seems to be. Argomon is just too strong for the three Digimon Agumon, Gaomon and Lalamon.

But can the three Digimon still win the fight and save the real world without their partners before the worlds reaches it's end? And what is it for a voice that calls after Agumon?
