 Story

As student of the 21st century you hear rumors about so-called "digital monster". To discover the truth about this rumor, you sneak into the computer room of your school and try to find something on the internet. There you find a weird search engine, which directs to to another strange site (after entering some sentences), this site asks you: "Want to open the door to the Digital World?", you click yes and get transferred to the previous mentioned world.

The player gets some basic information about digimon explained by ClavisAngemon, when entering this new world. After this little course you get into the first and only city "Digi-Central" where lies the Union Office, your next target. In this building you register yourself as a Tamer and the game finally starts.

The main screen, outside in the normal field. The upper screen shows your DigiFarm all the time, you are practically seeing it as tv-channel, which can't be switched, only events on the DigiFarm change the "channel". The D is a clock, showing how many time has passed, when it's totally full a new day arrived. You get a DigiFarm report by Calumon then.

The lower screen is to control your character. Behind the avatar of the player run his 3 active digimon (or only 1-2 when there is only 1-2). The Digimon can be swapped in the menu, up to: 3 active and 3 reserve. Active Digimon fight in a battle for the player, reserve ones can be switched only outside of a battle.

The upper battle screen shows a list of all Digimon taking turns next, there is also a field overview and window for technique descriptions. As you see this game is turn-based.

The lower battle screen shows the battlefield and here you choose actions for all of your Digimon. This includes attack, item, move and flee. Furthermore the battlefield is divided into 5 lines, this means there can be 5 digimon attacking you, however yourself can only use up to 3. Attacks target 1 to 5 of the lines and can be evaded with up to 2 Digimon by "move"ing them around the field, reducing damage to your team.

This is the DigiFarm. The upper screen contains information about the object / Digimon selected.

In the lower screen you control a hand, which can perfom actions, like building items on the farm and speaking to Digimon. The player character is not shown when entering the farm, he only appears when there is a story event.

 Graphic & Music

There are many different worlds, like woods, swamps, jungles, sewers and so on. Every world looks a bit motion and lifeless, because animations are rarely used. At least they are created with many details. The battles look pretty unspectular, attack animations are really simple this time, the Digimon however are nicely drawn and animated.

Speaking about the music, it's relatively simple. Every territory has its own background music, making this matter a round thing*. Because they suit the respective situation. However the Drawback is, there are only 1 music for normal fights and 1 for boss battles. *(german colloquial locution)

 WiFi-Connection

With Support of the WiFi Connection, it is possible to trade and fight with other player. Visiting the DigiFarms of each other, is another feature. It is even possible to use this connection to get DigiEggs of Digimon otherwise impossible to get (trough normal scanning of data).
