 Story

The boy Akira works in the DigiWorld of the continent of Directory. There he finishes his education, he then begins to fight the wild Digimon which lately appear more frequently and do damage to the inhabitants of Directory.
When beginning you have to choose one of 3 Guard teams to join, where your job is to accomplish different missions. However you discover a true plot little by little, behind the happenings in the DigiWorld.

 Gameplay

There you see the normal area, where the player runs around. Unlike the other games, the Digimon is not following the player around in this game.

The Dungeon is the part where the most of the game takes place, it is the habitat of wild digimons and part of many missions, the only exploration tool of choice for these Dungeons is the Digi-Beetle, which is similar to an armoured off-road vehicle. The Digi-Beetle can also be equipped with enhancements (e.g.: better armour to gain more HP, stronger cpu to carry more digimon) to become suited for more situations (e.g.: hazardous terrain, traps).

The fights are turn-based, only 3 of your Digimon can take part in a fight, HPs are shown for all Digimon and MPs only for the own Digimon.

 Graphic & Music

The graphic is on the same level as his predecessor (below average for ps1), but at least the battles are made more interesting this time. The Dungeons themself look very boring after a short time, they look pretty much the same and because of that, it could be guessed these have not been custom-built. Otherwise the music is fitting the scene, however the fact with dungeons, include the variety of music, which isn't changing much.
