DATS is short for "Digital Accident Tactics Squad" (Digital Strategies Accident Department). The organization looks out for digital phenomena and it ensures that no wild Digimon devastate the real world and they also have the best equipment and technology that is in the world. When they find a Digimon, it will be captured and transformed in a Digi-egg sent back using the Digi Dive. This organization was founded about 10 years ago by the people who participated in the first expedition to the DigiWorld.

| | Captain Sampson Rentarou / Satsuma Rentarou Sampson is the current leader of the Team. He has the same position like Yamaki (Digimon Tamers) and he saw Marcus' potential and that's the reason why Marcus was recruted for the Team, too.

| | Officers Megumi Shirakawa und Miki Kurokawa They both are official and hard-working DATS Members. Megumi (blond) is a cheerful soul while Miki (black-haired) gets faster angry.
These two women have important roles. They are looking for wild Digimon in the real world with the help of the big computers, while sending the newest informations to Marcus, Yoshino and Thomas.
Miki and Megumi have both a PawnChessmon as a Digimon Partner giving a helping hand to the women and nevertheless they are the perfect team if a strong defense is needed.. Megumi's Partner: Puttomon, Cupimon, PawnChessmon (White), KnightChessmon, BishopChessmon, KingChessmon

| | Chef Homer/Hiroshi Yushima Homer Yushima is a old man who likes it to go for a fishing trip. He gave the Digivice to Marcus and gives him very often useful hints for solving problems.
But this old man is the boss of the DATS even if doesn't looks like he could handle something important like that. And all because of he was the leader of the first expedition to the Digital World. But he is not the type of person who like it to play big roles.
