Digimon are digital monsters. They arose from the bits, bytes and parts of lost data in the computer and they also live in the computer and the Internet.
Digimon are one of the four types, which they possess. Depending on what type they belong, they have different attacks, preferences, uniquenesses, and so on. But as I said: There are four different types.
Vaccine (good-natured), data (neutral), Virus (malignant), Variable (undefined)
Then there are different species. However, there are too many of them to mention all of these species. There are, for example, reptiles Digimon, Dragon Digimon, insect Digimon, Digimon androids, and a lot more and different types. Even to this day all species are still not known and not researched.
The life of a Digimon begins as a Digiegg. There it remains until it slips. Then it is on the micro-level and later it digivolves to the baby-Level and is a bit stronger now. So it is always more in the life of a Digimon. The highest level that can be achieved, is the Ultimate-level. Each time a Digimon digivolves it is not necessarily bigger but certainly stronger.
Digimon is in Japan a popular anime series. But there is not just a television series, but also manga, toys, video games and trading card games.
The first episode of Digimon started in Germany on 14 August 2000 on the Channel RTL2. The first season ran on and at the same time, American audiences were able t watch the second series.
Although the series started in Japan difficulty (irst time on air was on March 7, 1999), but they were able to stand against other series like Pokemon or Dragonball. The Americans liked the series, even if there were a quite few changes made.
That was not the beginning of the monster success. Their first gig they had was in 1997 as a special version of the Tamagotchi by Bandai. Bandai bought the rights for all Digimon Games and any other Digimon related kind of Toy.
