Tai's characteristics are obvious the adventuresomeness and courage. As the leader of the group he often does blindfold things bringing the others often in danger. However, he creates through his tenacity new courage for the others to continue the adventure. He always fights to the very last end and even in difficult situations, he always makes jokes, but one thing is very important to him: his sister Kari. Since she is younger, Tai protects her as best as he can. One of his hobbies is playing soccer.

Since the separation of his parents, he lives together with his father and has learned to be responsible for things he had done. Matt doesn't matter of what others are saying and makes his own thing. For this reason he is often in conflict with Tai. Matt always tries to hide his soft and sensitive side to the othe in order to be cool. But when his little brother is involved, he cannot do otherwise. During his time as a Digidestined he is aware of how important friends are and so his Crest fits really well to him. His trademark is his harmonica.

Sora is like the big sister in the group. She takes care of all the others and ensure that they are doing well. Therefore, she has the crest of love. Sora gives her best when it comes to achieving their goals and she remains on the ground of facts. Once she is feared, Sora doesn't show that to the others. Initially, the relationship with her mother is not the best one. Later she clarifies this conflict, however, and she remembers how much her mother loves her. Like Tai she often plays soccer in her freetime. |

Even though Joe is the oldest in the group, but he is the most timid of them. For fear of so many things he makes no risks and everything is always thought about twice. However, he feels as an elder responsible for the other and during his time as a Digidestined his courage gets more and more. If others need him, he always tries to be there for them. In his family, it's like a tradition that everyone works as a doctor, what is a big problem for Joe because he's afraid of blood. Therefore, he has a first aid bag with him... just in case. |

Mimi is like a little princess, who is always spoiled by her parents. When she comes to the Digiworld she feels totally out of place and is afraid of all battles. Even though she often tries to take center stage, Mimi is not selfish. She is friendly and really sweet, but often she does not recognize the important things in life. In the threatening moments she is always worried about her outfit and she hates it to be dirty and to go just more than three steps. Nevertheless, she ensures her friends and has a heart made of gold. |

With his laptop Izzy is capable of everything what is about the Digiworld and the Digimon. Tat's only possible because he has great knowledge. He tries to collect all informations about the Digiworld what brings him and his Partner Tentomon often in dangers without even recognizing what happens around him. Often he seems to forget that his friends are not computers, but living creatures with feelings and emotions. His real parents died in an accident and so he lives now together with his adoptive parents. |

T.K. is friendly, unselfish, and also the youngest of the eight Digidestined. Because T.K. is so young, he is more like a crying baby in lots of situations. But even if he is feared, he always tries to be brave in order to impress his big brother Matt because his brother is his idol. T.K. cannot understand the separation of his parents as good as Matt. He lives with his mother and is glad when he sees Matt from time to time. His crest resembles hope and it fits well because he is often the last hope for the group. |

Kari is the eighth child in the group and gets to the group later because of an illness so she wasn't able to go together with the others to the Digiworld. She is the little sister of Tai and always thinks first of the others before she thinks of herself. Through her sacrifices she often acts more mature than everyone else, even if she looks like a vulnerable little child. There are even situations in which she is a real exploding girl. She has the power of light in the group and has also the crest of light. |
